Data Architecture

SubLyst is built on a Local-First philosophy. We believe your financial data is yours alone. Unlike traditional apps, your subscription records are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.

Encrypted Local Storage

Your data (subscription names, costs, and dates) is stored in a sandboxed database on your device, protected by standard OS-level security.

Private Cloud Sync

We use Google Drive Sync for backups. Data is stored in your personal Drive (App Data folder). SubLyst acts as a bridge; we never see or store your Google credentials.

Data Processing & Services

Google User Data Policy

SubLyst’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy. We use the drive.appdata scope solely to provide backup functionality.

Experience Optimization

We utilize Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used. By associating interactions with a pseudonymized User ID (UID), we can refine app workflows and optimize the interface to better serve your needs, without ever accessing your personal financial records.

Stability Monitoring

To ensure maximum reliability, Firebase Crashlytics monitors app health. If an error occurs, technical logs linked to your UID allow our team to rapidly identify, reproduce, and resolve the specific issue, ensuring a stable environment for your data.

Entitlement Security

RevenueCat securely manages your "Pro" status. By validating your transaction history against a unique identifier, we ensure your premium features are instantly accessible across all your devices and can be restored seamlessly at any time.

Your Right to Deletion

Request Data Deletion

Since SubLyst stores data locally and on your private Google Drive, you have full control over its removal:

  • On-Device SovereigntyYour localized database is stored within a secure sandbox on your phone. You can perform an instant, permanent wipe of all subscription records by clearing the "App Data" in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.
  • Cloud IndependenceBecause your backups are stored in your own Google Drive (via the drive.appdata folder), you have the master key. You can delete these backup files or revoke the app’s access at any time through your Google Account’s "Security & Third-Party Access" dashboard.
  • Administrative ErasureTo request a complete manual purge of your Firebase UID, associated analytics events, and technical crash logs from our internal optimization tools, please initiate a request via the button below. This ensures your technical footprint is entirely removed from our monitoring systems.
